"I’d love it if Michelle [Obama] would agree to it," former second lady Jill Biden told CNN on Friday said. "But I think she’s had it with politics. I don't know. She’s so good at everything she does. That would be wonderful."
Joe Biden, also commented this week, saying that he would "take her in a heartbeat." “She’s brilliant," he told a Pittsburgh outlet. "She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends.”
Buck Sexton, the host of“The Buck Sexton Radio Show” said Thursday that Joe Biden, the presumptive Democrat nominee for president, has to pick a woman of color or the party’s left will not embrace his campaign.
“If he doesn’t pick a woman of color, the left is going to have a problem with him,” Sexton said. “We know this.”
Sexton pointed to recent comments from Georgia’s Stacey Abrams who appears to be under consideration. Abrams lost to Republican Brian Kemp in a tight race in 2018, but gained national celebrity when she said, “democracy failed Georgia.”
